I've now had over 40 responses to the Amanda poll, which is close to a third of you, but the trend is now very clearly established in terms of Amanda III being the favourite version. I had never put this to the test and was a little wary of doing so, mainly because I hate to choose between them and I want them all to win. I had to put together the montages simply because it's been a whiile since Amanda I and II and I wanted to give them a fair chance. I feel more bad for Amanda I and II not getting the votes than I feel glad for Amanda III carrying the day. But it was very interesting to me to put this to the test, as I've never had anything but positive comments about all three, and I really wanted to know which you prefer. I suppose that I should be glad really, because it would be more worrying if you all didn't like Amanda III and were hoping I would revert back to a previous version.

So, there are now two possible ways in which I can interpret the runaway victory of Amanda III: First would be that she is the endgame Amanda and, since most of you are happiest with her, it would be a terrible mistake ever to release a new model. Second would be the exact opposite reading, which is that each subsequent release of Amanda gets more appreciation and affection, and I should keep going and revising her every few years.

I really hope that it's more of the second answer than the first, as I will shortly be posting the first pictures of Amanda Jones 4.0. Like Amanda 3.0 she is a Genesis 8 Female model, and comes with all of her advantages. However she once again has that supermodel look, much more akin to Amanda II, and therefore she is quite a contrast to Amanda III.

The few people I have shown her to have all encouraged me to go ahead with this, but now these poll results are making me even more nervous about whether you will like her. I guess I will find out over the next 24 hours.
