I did I believe in middle skool so since that was in the '80s...it is an OLD game. Who knows but at least better than dark and cloudy dysentery guy.

Those without a high-level alchemist on their side will eventually run out of this and being so far away from any city will either have to pay a courier to run them in blind and hope they make it in time or try and find one on the open road.

After all, raising a tectonic plate would normally cause insane tsunamis and earthquakes. So signs point to them being able to avoid causing damage. On the other hand, ocean currents and weather have been affected so even tertiary effects could result in the kind of issues you are interested in.

Is there a river mouth (or cloaca, if you will) right where the cheeks meet? Are there river towns in the old lands that have been flooded or dried up because the rivers they depended on are even now beginning to change course?
