It’s always so weird to me that people want to hurry back to the innfolk. Like, why wouldn’t you want a follow up on Merish? It’s not like he and Viri are the only survivors of the best 3 chapter interlude sequence.. oh wait. They are. I’m eagerly awaiting Merish to join Ilvress’s task force which should be any chapter now. He might even bring along MATH. My only regret is that the entire chapter wasn’t devoted to him. Well, lil miss perfect was also really great. I look forward to her joining the fellowship. Since they need a peerless tracker if they’re gonna catch Wanderer. I hope battle bot chills out though. Maybe get the kid some dreamleaf and let him paint some happy little trees in his mind’s eye instead of untold carnage. Actually, a lot of gnolls could really use some dreamleaf.

I didn't mind that it was a meeting of the tribes chapter, I had been waiting for one and I loved the other ones, but I was hoping that the story would progress forward and not mostly sideways, nothing really happened for most of the chapter and suddenly it ended. There where a few references in a few lines that tried to push the story forward but nothing more, and they where super short, no build up, no great reactions. Crossing fingers that this chapter as a whole, is a buildup for something more.

I liked that the chapter had a focus on someone else other than the main cast. I appreciate that aba wrote about the effects of ptsd. Looking forward to more chapters, thanks!

Great chapter...I agree though I had to get past the fact it started with a new character. It was a fun chapter that let us see a wide variety of skills. So many plot lines now I need some Cliff Notes for everything going on......

After a long break I just want a main character chapter. I'm having a hard time getting into a 31k chapter about a character we barely know. If it was the second chapter after a break, I'd be fine. But I'm always disappointed when the first chapter back is focused on someone we don't know and doesn't involve any of the main cast.
