Enuryn Art Poll!

One more poll since I have your attention! Enuryn the [Naturalist]--whose art you have seen and I have yet to feature 1 more of--the Players of Celum--has been working relentlessly hard and finished all the previous commissions, including the Dragonthrone, A'ctelios, the inn rooms and common room (Commissioned by Carl the [Generous Frog], not me!), and he's ready for more work!

This is your chance to vote! The top 5 choices will be selected, with one guaranteed 'winner' from Fauna, Flora, and the Environments category. So we could have 3 Fauna, 1 Flora, and 1 Environment or any combination!

In short, vote your passion and Enuryn will draw it! Also, you can see Enuryn's art before it's featured in a chapter in the Discord server he has!

The weekly break not over yet? Dammit i already got withdrawal symptoms. The Garden won. As expected. But dam all of them are good.

I'm ok with the story being sprawling, but it can't continue to sprawl indefinitely or we'll just end up with hundreds of shallow characters and stories that never went anywhere or got wrapped up in a rush to make time for other stories. There is an opportunity cost to things.

Stormlock

Ah, but it isn't a single story. It is a world that is built here. The webserial format allows the author to write multiple different stories at once, which not only helps keep readers from getting jaded, but hopefully the author as well. The stories overlap, and some have already ended while others are just beginning. It is a series, with short stories and novels/novellas being written simultaneously.

I think it’s amazing how large the story is but what you say is true there is shorter time for each plot point. But l trust pirateaba to resolve all of them at some point. It’s like one piece, it’ll prob last for another ten years and to me that’s great to hear because l can’t imagine not reading this story every week.

We still have to hear about the Raskghar living in the Liscor sewers, which I'm very curious about.

Lets not forget that loose threads are opportunities to be tied. Remeber bearclaw? She was dull, i think, but her dead thread led us to the secret society of doombringers. And I really liked them.

The world/story gets bigger and bigger, but I don’t feel individual story lines are getting thinner or weaker. Is it slowing the overall story down? Probably. But I actually fell more and more threads are getting connected, and that the story is slow, well, that I don’t care about when it is good!

I think that is just not the style of story we are reading. A large part of wandering inn's charm is this sprawling tale that expands in new and exciting ways. The fact that there are tons of loose plot threads that I am really invested is wonderful. As long as the chapters are individually fun I am very happy to very slowly build the larger plots.

Being on book 3, I've no idea what I just voted, but it was fun, anyways 😁

Wouldn’t it make sense to condense the story a bit more ? It feels like the plot is getting thinner and thinner, with so many characters. We haven’t heard about the dungeon in so long, and liscor politics as well. There are just too many plot lines and new ones keep appearing.
