Great chapter...actually one of my favorites I think. But I love most chapters where people finsmd tons of loot and treasure. GO RYOKA! maybe a few dragons and arch mages will attend the solstice party.

Ryoka replies that they are runners with a message, and at that point the fragments reunite: "The hovering [Mage]…stopped. All of her fragmented thoughts. All of her separate selves…finally came together. She became one once more and realized only now, how much she had lost. And it had all come from a single young woman." Valeterisa then just asks asks for confirmation that they are runners with a delivery. I'm not sure we have seen 'gratitude' at work yet (or any real conversation)
