Side Stories Spoilers - June 2019

You know the drill. It's all free game from now on. Spoil away! I tried to make this poll more 'even' this time by removing any of the big options guaranteed to win. Niers and his students, Teriarch, Toren, slimes...but there are interesting topics!

Although, I will say that I intended this poll to give me an easy story to write. Whether that holds true may be a matter for debate, but some of these stories are true shorts, while others advance the plot, as I've noted below:

Drunk Keyboards - Total rando. I'm not planning anything for it and the chapter could be short or long. I'll be drinking gin and some kind of sweetener, if that adds any context. If you don't like my liver, vote away!

Liscor's Finest? - Zevara plays politics with Watch Captains. Relc and Klbkch do their job. We've had this before, but it's a classic because Relc and Klbkch are always applicable to any point in time. This will actually intersect with the plot in some interesting ways, but it's mainly fun. Vote for nostalgia's sake and our original cast!

Minotaur Politics - What did they think about Venaz's performance? Anyone know about a certain Minotaur named Calruz? What is Minotaur society like, whether in small groups or in the homeland? This one will affect the plot too, but it's mainly a cultural piece. In that you have no idea how Minotaur culture works. Vote for honor, bad-tempered cows, and humor? Minotaur humor.

The Witch's Coven - Oh, this one will put me up against the likes of Macbeth and Terry Pratchett. Ooh, er. That's a tough lineup to go against. But Izril has its covens and one of our favorite [Witches] (the only one we know) might be meeting with her friends. And the [Witches] of Izril have their own opinions and counsel about everything! If you want to see someone fly on a broomstick, vote here! Minor plot relevance for now.

Six Tales of Triumph and Trevails - Randomness! But I will try to make each story very distinct. There will be highs and lows. Triumphs. Maybe even deaths! This one's got variety. So...yay?

Embria Makes a Friend - Who the friend is is the real mystery here. But Embria can be fun! She just needs a dedicated chapter where you see exactly how hard it is to be a Wing Commander in a thankless job with not enough help. And to have Relc as a father. Embria laughs, cries, gets drunk--it's all Embria here. And her friend. And Relc. Because he's Relc.

The Sugar Road - Where does Magnolia get her sugar? Baleros. And how does it get here? What struggles, what negotiations with Drowned Men and [Pirates] (sometimes one and the same) must a cargo ship survive to get to Izril? What nightmares under the sea? What huge and epic encounters? All this for sugar. Seriously. I'm serious here. It's all for sugar. Worth more than gold, at least to Magnolia. Vote for sugar!
