Feels like you're a bit like I was in college, writing papers: never had any inspiration til due date, then it all came to me a day or two before, and revision the night before. When I took more time to do it, the results always felt lacking compared to the time taken

Looking forward to the next chapter.

2019-04-02 19:12:41 +0000 UTCDidn't you say once that you write best in the evening? That you're a night writer? I dislike extrapolating from my own experience based off a single datum, but I found that I'm happiest and most productive in a good way when I wake really early, e.g. four to seven a.m., exercise (I go to a climbing gym), and then work till some time in the afternoon (sometimes I'll just work at the climbing gym so it's not as lonely and breaks are fun). I'll go to sleep at sunset or shortly before or afterwards, so I have to have social support that can hang out in the afternoons to make it sustainable. Maybe this will give you ideas to try! Humans have a hard time staying happy when our sleep schedules don't match our genetic circadian rhythms, which are of some variance among individuals.
