Here we are, just over halfway through the second arc. Next week is the first of the regular break weeks, so Maidens of the Fall will resume as scheduled, on the 13th of December! Behind the scenes, things are going so incredibly well that I was strongly considering just skipping the need for a break week. But then I tempered my excitement and accepted that I need to stick to a sustainable schedule as much as I can. If I do end up with multiple chapters ahead behind the scenes, then I will release more for patrons, if/when that happens. Which I would like to!

As for the arc itself, I want to address a worry raised by a reader: no, we will not be spending the entire rest of the story on the moon or in the Dreamlands! You can probably tell by now that Pluto Base is a pretty important place to the narrative, but if you're concerned about the direction, don't worry. Octavia wants to head back to Earth, to England, to Willow, and she'll be dealing with plenty of things down on the surface too.

At the moment it's still looking like 5 chapters for arc 2. Might go to 6, but I doubt so. The first three arcs are still planned to form the extended opening / first book / however I should phrase it.

Also also! More art! From the Discord! This week we have the best thing of all - a regular zoog! (by Cera!) I was so delighted by this, it made me squeal. I suspect we're going to be seeing quite a few zoogs in the story.
