Necroepilogos, tenebrae - 13.2

This can of zombies is all shaken up; who wouldn't be, after that blast? But not everybody's paying attention. Somebody's out to lunch.

Epub version of the chapter is attached below, as always!

Arc 13 pushes onward into the murky darkness! Ohohoho, this one ... well, actually, this chapter is the first time in quite a while that almost everybody in the scene did what I had planned for them. Well. Almost. They never quite do! But things are shaping up. At current I think things are still on track for about 10 chapters. As long as nobody throws any more bombs.

Meanwhile! I have, yet again, more art! This week we have something delightfully unconventional - A Future Grown in the Nanite Soil, (by Melsa Hvarei!), as yet the sole attempt to depict the meat-plants growing in Kagami's lab. I'm delighted by this one! How very meaty!

Anyway! Onward we go, dear readers! I hope you are all enjoying Necroepilogos just as much as I am enjoying writing it!

Gotta find that creative outlet, even for the undead! Technically as a zombie, one could even use one's own bones!

Apocalypse or not, people do need a hobby. I think I would personally give scrimshaw a try. All you need to get started is a knife and someone else's bones after all. 😆

Meaty and juicy! Grown right here in Pheiri Labs! Fresh off the ... vine??? Yes! And ready to eat! And huh, now you've got me thinking, there probably is some handcrafted bone art out there amongst the zombies!

Mmm, that's some tasty looking fruit right there. Best part is it is grown local and is farm(lab) fresh too. Get enough growing and maybe they can set up a farmer's market. Other zombies can even set up stalls selling handmade jewelry and art crafted from the bones of their enemies. So wholesome! 😊
