Arc 23 is well underway now, as is Heather's slightly confused heart. Nothing left to do but seek comfort before the expedition out into the most inhospitable of places, and make sure those safety harnesses and anchors are well cared-for.
But also! I have a little bit of scheduling news: there will be no Katalepsis chapter on the 30th of December. Katalepsis will resume as normal on the 6th of January.
If you read my other story (Necroepilogos) then you've already seen this once, because I'm putting both stories on pause for one week. I've got some serious obligations over Christmas which have completely disrupted my usual editing schedule. I'll still be writing and working like usual! But rather than risk posting a very mangled chapter, I've decided to tap out this week to ensure quality rather than speed. Katalepsis will be back as normal the following week! Thank you for your patience, and, as always, thank you so much for all the support. I could not do any of this without you.

Oh, gosh, yes. I promise I will take a break as well! I've been trying my best to balance my workload over this last year to avoid burnout. It's difficult, but very important. Sadly I doubt it's going to snow here; it used to a bit when I was a child, and it has a few times over the last decade, but it's plenty warm right now. It's been over a decade since I last had to shovel any snow! And hey, same to you, if it snows, I hope it's scenic!
