Chapter digs a comfy nest, deep in the warm, dry soil, to curl up and doze through the summer heat. And here it is, another chapter for you all! Things are getting spiky and Outsider-y again. Hope you enjoy, dear readers!

After some feedback last week (and some good advice from other web serial authors), I'm changing how I publish and organise the advance chapters from now on, very slightly. Rather than being on the same page every week, they're going to be regular posts, just passworded, then made public the following week. This makes things easier for me and also more accessible for some readers, and means that comments left on the patreon advance chapter will carry over to public chapters!
