I’ll be happy when they have actual progress, until then, just seems like a gag, but feel like they’re already going a little too hard with that joke 😅 it’s funnier to me the Nightfall gag.

2025-12-07 17:42:47 +0000 UTCAs I said last week, I’m far more invested in seeing the Forgers actually grow into a real family and watching Loid and Yor’s feelings develop naturally, even if it’s still a slow burn and mostly played for comedy right now. But I’ve honestly enjoyed this season far less than seasons 1 and 2, because instead of focusing on that, we’ve been stuck in the same repetitive Anya–Damian pattern the entire time. Anya says something playful or silly, Damian blushes and snaps at her, Anya gets upset or cries, he feels guilty but denies it and either apologizes awkwardly or pretends nothing happened… rinse and repeat. There’s basically no progression there, just the same static awkwardness every episode. And even though it’s frustrating that we barely get any meaningful Lloyd and Yor interactions, at least the few moments we do get actually show some growth, like Lloyd helping that teacher with his wife, or Yor talking with her coworkers about husbands and marriage, so they can slowly realize more about their feelings for each other over time. Those scenes feel genuine and actually add something to the story. I’d really like this season to finish with a nice, meaningful moment between Lloyd and Yor, because it feels like the natural payoff after everything we’ve seen. But if we get yet another weird, drawn out Anya/Damian interaction instead, I’m honestly gonna be really pissed
