2025-12-08 06:41:37 +0000 UTCEp 64 Shikamaru Nara. That kid is going to head of Ambu black ops one day. I’m not spoiling, I’m not making a prediction, I have said this since middle school. And stand by that this is fact no matter the canon. Shikamaru may come off as sexist but in actually he dose respect woman, he finds them fierce, and easily to upset, and scary capable. As we learned anything that involves large effort is not Shikamaru’s motivations, so that’s why he complains he has to keep fighting the opposite sex, not because he thinks he’s better than them, because he believes he has to put more effort into winning against them. I’ve always interpreted Shikamaru quitting this way. He knows his limit, and calculated that by the time his next match came he would still be low on chakra to win. So he determined, that the inedible loss was not worth his current stamina. He made the decision. That it was a losing battle to continue to fight, and best to fall back and get a better position next time. Plus I have a sneaky suspicion that once Gema told them winning or losing their matches did not determine their promotions, he decided long as he showed a good match, worst case he a Chunin best case he isn’t. Lastly both Shikamaru and Temari both know he out strategized her, and won. And that enough to satisfy him. Shanobi Secret scroll! Shikamaru Nara placed well in the Naruto Character Popularity Polls, reaching an all-time high of fourth most popular. I guarantee he’ll be replacing Both yur Zabuzas sooner then later as out Shadow King deserves to be. Shutting up now.

For perspective the Hyuga elder who first proposed the switch of the brothers, was not just at the time the head of the clan, but the brothers father. So he thought so less of his second son as a branch member he showed no callus in sacrificing him. Just for perspective. I may need to be fact check on this, (come on fellow commoners do so participation) but I’m 60% sure, that once Lord Haishi became the clan head after his father’s death, the curse mark sealing on second branch children was forbidden. I don’t remember if it stated at any point in the series but I do remember hearing something about that, again fact check me if this was just a made up post of the past.
