2025-12-03 20:45:38 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but for the next arc, Toei has made a sort of "remaster" for it, looks a bit more modern but the pacing is definitely better, if you guys could manage to have that checked out without getting spoiled, it's a solid choice. Not sure what's the overall opinion on this tho.

It's directed by Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, The Boy and the Beast, Digimon 99' short film, etc). I LOVE Strong World (movie 10), and it's somewhat connected to the Impel Down/Marineford arcs, as it's the closest to a canon movie (it's not canon but it has canon characters). Movies 1 to 7 are what I like to call a "Skypiea" movie - a great adventure movie. Past movie 10 all he have is a -big battle battle royale- type of thing, probably Marvel influenced analysing the timeline. I really recommend you guys to watch all of the 1-7 movies even if offscreen to us, as it's something that mantains the adventure aspect of One Piece - something that as the story progress in lore/action get's deprioritized. Really hope you guys enjoy it!

He’s just thinking in his own weird logic: if Garp, who’s a legend, is Luffy’s grandfather, and Dragon, who’s also a legend, is Luffy’s father, then at this rate Rayleigh might as well be Luffy’s uncle. But obviously Rayleigh is almost the same age as Garp, so he couldn’t be Garp’s son.

2025-11-24 21:45:00 +0000 UTCthere is one movie i really hope you guys watch and its "Chopper's Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals" obviously as name says, chopper is pretty relevant in this movie and i know you both love chopper and it also "give" viewers something they keep asking for (something i see both of you ask on ocasion) that is almost non existent in the actual anime. it also has (in my opinion) some of the best animated moves in combat before time skip

Lol Haven't consumed much of the side content for One Piece, but Fan Letter is incredible. Not watchable until after the first short arc post timeskip though, but keep it mind for in the future!
