2025-11-13 08:15:33 +0000 UTCIt's not the same. The government/marines are supposed to be the good people, but they are arguably worse than pirates. The Government is literally rotten to its core. Someone like Garp who has seen it all should NOT be on their side. Not only has he seen the inhumane cruelty, but he has also outright ignored it. Coby is a different case because he hasn't actually seen the deep roots of the government or what's going on behind the scenes. And unlike Garp he's actually standing up to the higher ups in this episode, and trying to make a difference. I love Garp but he's not a good person whatsoever. Someone like Dragon is doing 100x more than Garp ever has.

I've genuinely never seen anybody have such an angry reaction to his actions. I'm all for trying to see both sides of an argument but I really can't think of a reason to be this annoyed without outside influence

Let's not forget the constant messaging here... there are good guys and bad guys in both sides. I lean more towards ange's POV on coby... cos someone should clean up the marines. Cos generally marines do want to protect civilians and pirates don't. Both sides do have unicorns.
