2025-07-31 02:48:20 +0000 UTCIn the weirdest way possible, the fight between Endeavor and All for One shows off Endeavor's best and worst qualities, both as a person, and as a hero. As a hero, he'll do everything he can, even sacrifice his own arm for the sake of saving the world and making things better for the next generation so that they won't be brought down by what he's done. But as a person, he's still unable to fully face his past, only having moments of introspection where he realizes what he has to do, but can't bring himself to do it. It speaks to who Endeavor is ultimately. He can face the strongest villains out there, but his biggest foe that he'll never beat, is himself. I guess that's kinda fitting. Society itself is flawed and corrupt, so it's only fitting that the current number one hero is flawed and corrupt as well. Also shoutout to Bakugo and those shoulder cannons. Love those things-

Yeah that's basically season 7 LMAO I encourage you guys to listen to Shigaraki's monologues also along with the heroes, he speaks some hard hitting lines in this season. It really gives a lot of depth to the whole 'hero vs villain' and shows just how gray-area'd this battle is overall. AFO is a shit talker most of the time but I love Shiggy's monologues a lot because of how well he's written. Same goes for Endeavor and Bakugo ofc. Also not sure if you guys missed it but Endeavor ripped off his own arm when it got pierced by one of AFO's spikes, that's why he made that fist out of his flames. He was missing his arm below his elbow. Man this season is peak after peak. Already can't wait for next week!

As a dad, that shit gave me CHILLS and cemented the reason why I absolutely love him as a character and why I love MHA. The level of emotional nuance and depth written into this man, into the idea of personality "Quirks", as both legacy and identity?! Seeing someone not run away from their failings as a parent, the acknowledgment of who he has been and who he is?!
