LN cut content: When Badigadi was watching Rudues train he asked Rudues why was he training his sword skills without Battle Aura because there's no point without enveloping yourself with it. Battle Aura is necessary to enhance your speed, strength, and durability. Without Battle Aura you will never be anything better than the intermediate level. Rudeus said he can't use battle aura and felt discouraged. Badigadi tells Rudues to not feel so sad because The Demon God Laplace COULDN'T use Battle Aura either and instead became powerful using only magic. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE because Rudues and Laplace are the only ones so far in the series that can't use Battle Aura.
