((but I gotta appreciate how AFO is such a menace shit talker 😭)) the fight was so well done they really upped the animation so good~ and Deku's monologue about everything not being just black and white is so HUGE! like you said its really nice that their broadening the world and adding nuance~ I feel like I say this every week but... next week cannot come soon enough its gonna be amazingggggg i cannot wait!!

2025-06-12 02:32:40 +0000 UTCDamn this episode i always felt it was so underrated and it was one of my favorites, all the animation, fighting, music, the tragic backstory of nagant and the lines of deku saying to her and the themes they talk about the grey things of the hero society and giving hope to my beautiful Lady Nagant, its so sad and tragic everything of her life but I love her so much!!!. I always get so emotional and crying so hard.

After the former president of the Safety Commission was killed by Nagant, the Madam President who took his role took pity on her and just had her jailed in Tartarus instead of just killing her and then moved on to Hawks to carry out their shadier dealings. Hori mentioned wanting to write a short story for her once the series ended, but it probably won't happen since he was tired.

I really love the what he told her in the end, that because she experienced the darkness she would know where to shine the light (something along those lines). Ugh this arc is just so so GOOD!
