The top 3 for me (1. Zoro, 2. Nami, 3. Luffy) have always stayed the same over the years, while the other spots often change depending on the arc. That said, the Straw Hats are all lovable and cool in their own unique way. π

I feel like that is strongest point of the first 500 episode in that Straw Hat were all very strong written, indivdually and very distinct where your preference will dictate favorites. Later, not so much, Oda def has more bias later on. But my list is Zoro, Luffy, Sanji, Robin, Nami, Franky, Usopp, Chopster. For me in one piece, peaks matter more than consistency. Considering the show is so long, the character I love most will be one who has the peak moments as opposed to character development just because all of them develop mostly.

2025-05-23 02:49:16 +0000 UTCWe still have a few good openings left to get covers of, I don't like opening 8, this one is pretty good, 10 is meh, 11-13 good, and 14 is one of my favourites. After that there's a steep decline from what I have heard. That said, even the openings I don't enjoy as much have been great as covers. (Brand New World got a bit robbed in my opinion, but that is my overall favourite opening, so maybe I am biased.) The voice actor for Hogback is amazing. Got even better range than Buggy's.
