Zoro deserves to be the vice captain for this scene alone really... Let alone everything else he did or will do for the crew. Sometimes all you need is to say 'I am sorry' for things to be all right again. People tend to overcomplicate things. The Thousands Sunny is all the Straw Hats are. Colourful, homey, fun, but also powerful, strong and full of secret weapons. 🌞🦁 Welcome on board, Franky!!

2025-05-10 21:36:08 +0000 UTCSometimes Zoro’s character gets a lot of shit for his stoicism, but I loved his speech bc he really reminded everyone exactly what’s at stake. This is the crew of the future king of the pirates, they sail out and put their lives on the line everyday. He talks about respect a lot, which is important, but I feel like he also implicitly demands trust. He expects the crew to trust and respect Luffy, and he demands that Luffy always be a man that deserves their respect and trust. I love this crew!!!

The times that each of the crew members contributes becomes more spread out because Toei drags the episodes. Plus, there is a large cast so the small moments often get overshadowed. This makes them seem incompetent. They also start to include more gags to fill in the time as well.

2025-05-08 18:54:25 +0000 UTCthese eps are so emotional😭 i sob uncontrollably with the franky family goodbye, the fact that all these years he went around water seven picking up people who caused "trouble" and gave them shelter, just like how tom san did with him💔 love franky so much! and i've been waiting for ya'll to find out he's joining to say this lol, the only straw hat i could ever ship robin with is him!! zoro's speech about how usopp left the crew truly shows how much he treasures it, his respect for luffy will always be one of my favorite things in this show, i knew you guys would love it too. now that franky has joined, i want to know both of your rankings for the straw hats!!
