Copy paste from a tweet made by one of the animators who work on the series: Ok, so here is the funny story about Mushoku Tensei #12 π I've told some colleagues that I witnessed a real "Waifu War" at one episode I worked at, and it was indeed this one. The "War" being the animators fighting over the new cute girl of the series. It happensed that amost all the animators in the episode wanted to animate the Kishirika sequence, because it was simply hilarious and the character is so cool. So we began flexing and bargaining with PA-san (the producer) so we could get the sequence... Things like: PA-san, I promise I can make this sequence faster, so please give it to me! It seems we put PA-san into trouble, because he didn't know whom to give the sequence and we were all putting preasure. I think it even delayed the production like a week
