As such, she found work for royalty, working as a guard-maid for the Asuran concubines' palace. She was relieved of her duties after she got her legs injured while trying to protect a newborn princess. From there, she travelled to Fittoa (where Paul's village is) in search of more work, far away from royalty since she didn't want any part of their political power struggles anymore. She found Paul's ad looking for a housemaid who also had experience as a midwife (since Zenith was close to giving birth to Rudeus), and went to work for him then.

It is halfway through ep 8 that things start shifting in a different direction more true to the other seasons(you’ll notice the switch). Only reason I’m telling you this is so that it’s easier for you to push through the bad moments and you’ll understand exactly why I said that lol

But let say, starting from Episode 3, he suddenly becomes pervert-free and no longer have those thoughts or actions, I would see that as "out of character" and no actual character development. I never thought of Mushoku Tensei as Rudeus' redemption arc, but more about how different People and Events in his life affect and change his character. A 40 year-old scum won't change just because he was reborn to another world with Magic talent. The real Change should be how he handle new challenges in life compared to his previous life. And at this stage of the story, he has a pretty easy life.
