Israel stuff ... AGAIN!

Yes, I will be doing Tortured Poets Department Reactions! I am traveling this next few weeks, but will hopefully be able to get them out in the next month, regardless. And ...

Yes, I know this is not music, but this past few weeks has had me stressing about Israel. So I am posting about it. AS my wonderful patrons, you get my full hour-long unedited (edited a lot actually, but only for time) version. I know this is an intense issue, but I tried to enter the subject with a bit of compassion. I dunno, maybe I succeeded, but here it is. I hope you're having an amazin week and about to have a great weekend. Hugz n kisses, A

Israel stuff ... AGAIN!

Comments

I feel like Crackhead Barney was given so much airtime (or any airtime at all, really) as a not-so-subtle way to dismiss/discredit pro-Palestine supporters as crazy and/or clout chasers. And having this person on first definitely primes the audience to view the panel participants' perspectives in a certain way. I wish Esther (the 2nd woman) had been given more opportunities to speak/ask questions because she seemed to have some interesting thoughts. But regardless, I appreciated seeing your reaction/perspective. In terms of The Tortured Poets Department, it might help to know that the first part of the album (tracks 1-16) is primarily synth-based, somewhat similar to Midnights (though there are a few guitar songs). The second half (tracks 17-31) is a lot more guitar-based and is closer to Folklore/Evermore in sound, so it might be more your style. But I'm looking forward to anything you choose to react to! (Personally, I love the whole album.)
