2025-03-16 04:10:31 +0000 UTCAt roughly 11:35 into episode 255 Usopp hears Sanji mention that "The last car was full of Government officials and worthless crap like masks and costumes." And when Usopp walks away he walks towards the rear cars. The reason for why there are masks and such on board is probably because the government had people in masks walking around town in Water 7 for various reasons. I could have sworn I saw the mask somewhere in the anime before it was used, but maybe I was thinking of the manga where it is shown in a suitcase.

2025-03-15 00:14:00 +0000 UTCI might be late but I think the way the animation was made in the scene where Luffy and Zoro made a hole in the wave is a bit exaggerated. In the manga, you see them attack the wave and immediately exit the other side. My understanding is they just timed the attack perfectly with the wave crashing down on them so it kind of created a force that repelled the wave around the train so they can get through. It didn't necessarily create a long tunnel. It was exaggerated in the animation for sure.

2025-03-12 20:10:36 +0000 UTCthere is probably a way to explain the wave hit, but they really are just that strong guys. Think of the wave punch as a show of raw strength. There was a force coming at them (the wave) and in order to deal with it more force is needed to be used to counteract it and let them through. It doesn't really need to be realistic, its just to show off Luffy and Zoro are forces of nature when combined and focused on a goal.
