I'm a fanfiction writer, and using the ages of Aizawa, Tomura and Kurogiri, worked out how old All Might and Gran Torino would be because I wanted him to have history with Kurogiri, but wanted an accurate timeline considering their backstories. I also like the headcanon that Vlad, Aizawa, Mic, Tensei, Midnight and the third of the rooftop trio all went to school together (and the Hero Killer, but that's my own HC, haven't seen it in anywhere else as of right now). I just like being accurate, and use age and height has descriptors a lot of the time (like Deku in ep 3 of s 1 XD) Actually... just consider me Deku-- I do that mutter thing sometimes XD

BUT that beeing said, it only gets crazy good from now on and the second half of season 5 has my all time fav episdoes of the show. Stay tuned :)

One for All didn't become One for All until it was passed to the second user in a way, but I'm saying the first user had the 'passing on' quirk and AFO gave him the stockpiling part that gave OfA it's power. Because quirks are largely genetic and it makes more sense for the brothers to have the similar quirk, rather than one having two of essentially the same one, and the other having a stockpiling one. Remember, Carlie and Ange aren't going to be looking through every page of the manga and have seen further explanations, I'm not trying to overwhelm them or other people who haven't consumed everything with multiple terms, hence why I kept it simple as I was essentially saying: hey, you guys are right! Way to go ^-^ without spoiling anything for them or anyone else

And I haven't commented on this before, but I really don't know why people don't like S5? I guess its for the same reason they don't like Hashira Training, because it's a slower season that sets up what's to come, but it's also necessary, y'know?

Midnight is 32, All Might is around 55-60, BIG age gap-- All Might really doesn't look that old, but Gran Torino is only roughly about a decade older than him. The youngest in the staff are Vlad, Aizawa and Mic, who are both 31 (and the same age and Tenya's brother for referance). Vlad (the Class B teacher) is just slightly the youngest (like he and Aizawa were born like one or two days apart) and Mic is considerable older (his birthday is I think in June-time, while Aizawa and Vlad are both November babies. On another note, you were spot on with the backstory. The first user had a quirk, but it was just a unique quirk that let him pass it on to others, but was useless. Until All for One gave him One for All, since that quirk is a stockpiling quirk, when passed on, it gives the new user the strength of the previous person (hence why Deku struggled with it and kept breaking his bones). One thing you did miss is that the black haired woman is Nana Shimura-- in that big All Might Vs All for One episode in Season Three, AFO taunts All Might about Tomura being her grandson. This is the first proper look we're getting of her, but I thought I'd remind you of their connection now this part of the Anime happens ^-^ As for MVP for this episode, I think it should be Aizawa. As much as I love Shinso, he'll have his moments, BUT the only reason Shinso is even there is because of Aizawa; he's been training him in secret ever since the Sports Fest (through the final exam, through the training arc, kamino, all that drama with Chisaki and Eri, he's always come back to help him). Shinso is even using his binding cloth! Aizawa is working so hard to help him and get him into the hero course. And off the back of that: remember that whereas all the teachers know Mini Might is All Might (even before his retirement), only Recovery Girl and Nezu know about One for All-- that's why All Might was freaking out, because Aizawa knows something's up between him and Deku (because both he and Shinso have a mental quirk, he's training Shinso how to fight in a way he can keep a distance because their quirks are similar). Aizawa ain't no fool, he knows something is up-- personally I just don't think he likes being lied to or people going behind his back, especially as Deku's teacher, which is why he was so intently staring at them XD

2025-02-20 23:00:32 +0000 UTCI think it's interesting that One for All parallels the quirk singularity doomsday theory, considering the theory is talking about genetics mixing each generation to produce more powerful quirks, whereas One for All is the only quirk (except All for One) that is actually the same quirk as it was generations ago, just constantly getting stronger. It's like the one exception to the theory, and yet it seems like it mirrors it.

This is where the "quirk singularity doomsday theory" that they were talking about could be an example - that quirks become stronger with each generation, to the point they might not be able to control them. Like you said, Izuku is the 9th. All Might was the 8th. And the quirk itself is one that stocks the power each user cultivated!

He had a great speech, and he did well to brainwash the beast, but Aizawa was good as well... It's close π By the way, I saw Ange listed Shinso among the very few characters he likes from 1B, but Shinso is not from 1B... :) He's is from the Normal Course. In UA, there are different courses: 1-Hero Course (like Class 1A, 1B, Mirio, etc.) Only the guys who passed the entry exam against the robots in the beginning of S1 could enter this Course. Obviously Shinso didn't, because one cannot brainwash robots... When Aizawa saw Shinso compete well during the school festival he complained about the entry exam and how unfair it was to Shinso. He had his eye on the kid all along XD 2-Support Course (like Hatsume Mei) 3-Business Course (we saw few of them mumbling in the crowd during the school festival...) 4-Normal Course (like Shinso). These guys are not trained to become heroes, but now Aizawa said in this episode that Shinso wants to switch to the Hero Course. That's why he said that he's many steps behind and needs to catch up :)
