Also, Endeavor saying he wants to atone and all that might sit better with me if he didn't seem so keen on keeping his job. Like, I get that the world kinda needs a strong hero right now, but still, put your money where your mouth is and all that. Plus, we haven’t even gone into the full extent of what he’s done. On a different note though, how come Midoriya isn't wearing clothes in the ghost One for All world or whatever it is? 😅

2025-02-18 23:32:44 +0000 UTCEven though they told Hawks to get accepted with the League, he still sets everything up with Endeavour for Endeavour and not just because of the mission in episode 4x24. Like Dabi said, Hawks wasn't supposed to bring Endeavour, the No. 1 Hero, he was just supposed to bring some random guy. So Hawks set that up with Endeavour to get the public acceptance even knowing it would piss off the League which is now even more needed since Hawks probably knows how badly things could potentially go with the League. Personally, I think that's even more reason to give him MVP for 4x24 since he went against his mission (according to Dabi) in order to give Endeavour the platform and push he needed. I loved all the theorizing about the vestige world! Very excited to see your reactions to uncovering more of the lore. Also, I'm so happy you pointed out the different responses from the Todoroki's! It's one of my favourite parts of their storyline that each child is having a different response to the trauma they experienced. Fuyumi just wants things to be normal and to ignore everything, Natsuo is angry and can't move past it, while Shoto is cautious and wants to just wait and see what happens. It's such a small detail but a huge part of what makes this storyline so realistic and well handled to me. And Endeavour accepting all these different responses and trying to address each child's response shows such growth for his character.

2025-02-18 22:11:09 +0000 UTCThink of the Vestige world as a middle ground between ‘Paths’-AOT and the ‘Spirit world’-Avatar. 9 is most likely arbitrary number but it could be a reference to 9 being the numerological number of Altruism and Humanitarianism; or it could unlikely be even a direct reference to AOT. (For AOT it was to represent the 9 Nordic realms - that is obviously not the case here) The reason why this season is disliked is not due to writing, but adaptation, pacing, and cut content in the later half (they butchered one of the most anticipated arcs by rushing - despite a couple of sequences being peak even after that)

The video player from Patreon does not provide a manual video quality selector, and for some people the auto-quality adjustment does not work properly (that is, internet connection is fine, more than fast enough, yet the auto-quality fails to work correctly only on the Patreon player specifically). While the anime isn't realistic, a ghost dream dimension where you communicate with someone from a hundred years ago because you ate a piece of hair, is a bit out there even for MHA. It's largely just a plot device as you guys already figured out. It is a neat way to portray that kind of information though.

He thought his brother was quirkless so he gave him the quirk to "Stockpile Power" thinking that this will bring him to his side. After receiving this quirk, the younger brother realized that he already had a quirk in him, which is "the Ability to Transfer your quirk to someone else". With this, the younger brother now has two quirks: 1- "Transferring your quirk to someone else" 2- "Stockpiling Power" This combination became what is known as "One for All". That's why all the previous holders were able to transfer the power to the next generation until it reached Deku.

That, and they were working harder on the movies during this time too. It's also a very plot-heavy season, so the "shonen anime fans" (they watch for the fights) don't love it.
