I absolutely see your point, but I also think it's a bit different since that's from the viewpoint of someone who was able to watch everything as it unfolded uninhibited. I just imagine if it were my family and I didn't get to see the whole picture myself, I'd be upset and hurt too. Whether that anger/pain is properly placed or not doesn't mean it won't naturally exist there. How Opal comes across is definitely up for interpretation, but I think given her perspective and how she's likely been stewing in her anxiety and worry for her family, I think her feelings are perfectly valid (even though–I agree–misplaced).

I don't agree with either of you about Opal. I thought she was a real bitch the entire show. Bolin never did anything wrong, he just had too pure a heart to see the evil in Kuvira. Once he came back to the good side, she should have let it go. But no, she takes the opportunity to displace all her anger out on Bolin, who had nothing to do with the capture of her family. Bolin is better off without her imo.

Keep in mind from this point forward the show was taken completely off the air as it was releasing. They buried it on the nick website with no notice and released the rest of the series there. Its actually incredible it turned out as decent as it did given the horrible treatment of this team 😭
