I think you should've still given usopp and luffy equal amount of berry for the fight. I'd say you can award great character moments whether it was for the greater good or not.

I guess it is a way of protecting themselves against copyright laws, so the picture is drastically reduced in size and there is no audio. In my opinion, you are better off watching their edited reactions if you don't want to go through that hassle.

I could understand if the last ep was equally split between luffy and usopp, there's arguments you can make about them that would be deserving of the bounties, but like you said - in the end it is almost like rewarding them, which doesn't really sit well. Or you might consider giving out bounties separately?! You already have different crews, the design might be a little cramped, but if it allows you both to follow your hearts, it's worth considering.

2025-02-15 03:40:10 +0000 UTCi was thinking about the bounties from more of a writing POV, writing wise usopp and luffy as characters had really HUGE scenes those last episodes, so i think it makes sense to give equally huge bounties to each of them. That said i also understand carlie's take on it, coming more from a pov about enjoying the characters and caring for them, making this scene somewhat smaller if you are thinking about what they did/how it was done instead of what they went through and how they felt. TLDR: i think however you guys want to proceed is fine xd

2025-02-14 08:43:05 +0000 UTCIn terms of character development, I'd argue that Robin is also having a lot. In this episode the main plot relates to her a lot. Even though it's all pretty mysterious and she's barely on screen. If bounties represented importance, she'd need to have a high one. But if it represents a reward you want to give, then I think it is fine where it is. And it would make sense to not give any to Usopp or Luffy either. Maybe Chopper could receive one? He showed a lot of care for Usopp, finding any excuse to see him.

2025-02-13 22:48:43 +0000 UTCI feel like for the Usopp/Luffy episode, since both are them undergoing character development; Usopp feeling less useless and Luffy becoming more of a Captain/Leader, it will pay off big later and as such, they prob get a bunch from the treasure later.
