I also don't even have a quality option to try and reduce it to remove the stuttering. It makes your videos unwatchable now :( I don't have this issue with other channels that use the built-in player, so idk why it's happening for yours :/

He's a bit hard to read in episode 24 but he sets up a bunch of stuff for Endeavour to take on the #1 role in more than just name. He purposely talks about how careful the heroes are being with their speeches because he knows the general public is uneasy and is thinking the same way he's speaking during the ceremony which prompts Endeavour to think a bit more about what he wants to say in response and thus deliver one of his most iconic liens of "Just watch me". Hawks also sets up the opportunity (as he mentions he's acting as Endeavour's producer haha) for Endeavour to deal with the Nomu rumour and reassure the public. He states he wants Endeavour to really lead this new era after All Might and be that #1 figure in more than just name. Hawks comment about heroes taking it easy also gets misinterpreted often. It comes across a little bit like he doesn't want to have any responsibility or take his job seriously but he definitely means it in the way that society is better for heroes having nothing to do because it means there's no major problems (like their society is currently dealing with with the League) and he wants to help create a world like that. Hawks is genuinely one of my favourite characters and I'm so excited you're finally meeting him!

2025-02-13 03:41:45 +0000 UTCI like to think that when thinking of the hero rankings expo Horikoshi was channeling his own experience with popularity ratings for manga. The job of a mangaka is quite stressful and part of that is because their job depends heavily on the audience popularity of their work. Low ratings can mean their series gets cancelled while topping the charts mean they get a chance at millions with a sweet anime deal. I also agree with the others that Hawks should be the one to get mvp this episode. He orchestrated the whole scene at the convention to make Endeavour look good. Endeavour didn't really do much other than say one cool line this episode. He gets mvp in the next one.

2025-02-12 23:51:19 +0000 UTCyeah, i think hawks was in the drivers seat this ep. endeavor was mostly just trying to figure out what was going on. granted, we see some great development from him this ep, i still think a lot of that comes from how hawks pushed him into those moments. at least, that’s why i’d go with hawks as mvp this time. so hyped for next episode! 😁

Luckily, when they finally did dub these episodes, Funimation double-dropped them, and it gave them time to see the Natsu memes about Endeavor's fan and get Todd Haberkorn, Natsu's VA, to voice the Natsu look-alike.
