i'm late to this but it's simply because those moments are not really funny but mostly uncomfortable and obnoxious, he did succeed a couple times and he's just weird, if you don't mind him that's your opinion, which is fair, but the hate it's totally understandable. His is not a unique or new troupe in anime at all, we've seen this countless of times but there's better ways of doing it but of course, worse too

2025-02-07 06:39:07 +0000 UTCI don't really understand the hate for Mineta. He's always been the joke character trope of the overly horny teenage boy. He never succeeds at actually doing anything crazy and pays the price as the butt of the joke. He's not my favorite character by any means, but it's nice when he occasionally has moments of growth during big fights or tests. In regards to the dance team, he was asked for by the effects team, so he's not necessarily so terrible at dancing that he was fired. As for MVP, I would argue Nezu deserves it. He's the reason the festival is still on. The moment between Gentle and La Brava was wholesome, but if the festival doesn't happen, Gentle has nothing to break in to. If the festival got called off, all the hard work and efforts of the students are wasted.

I remember so many people hated this arc while this was airing (I guess prbly because Season 5 hadn't come out yet...they thought this was the low point xD).

It was cute as hell xD - I missed that bit as well

The 2nd movie is hard to place, because the spoilers it has are easily overlooked. But because they are a reaction channel it's best to be as careful as possible. It's their job to dig into details after all.

Wish I could share this gift with you guys too cos that boy is a NUISANCE! Yesss let's go La Brava for MVP! I'm loving her and Gentle Criminal even more now thanks to you guys' reactions to them lmao they really are adorable in a way xD This mini arc with Gentle Criminal has more depth than him just being a silly villain in this season, without spoiling anything.
