Reminds me of this little known movie called Empire Strikes back with Yoda and an unknown character called Luke Skywalker. (Dont get me wrong, I love the cameo. They still ripped off Luke's storyline here with the Dagobah reference and all and connecting with the force)

Sometimes people need the opposite, they need a firm hand who's gonna be blunt and honest. Someone close to me once said "Everyone gets so focused on not saying the wrong thing, that they're too scared to say the right thing" Toph, encapsulates this idea, when everyone else was offering softness Toph gave firmness which is exactly what Korra needed.
