For me this was the first time watching G8, I just read the manga and watched the anime only partially when it came out (yes I’m old 🥲). Since it’s been ages I’m using this chance to re-watch everything with you guys 🙌 can’t wait for the next arc!

As many mentioned already, I would skip through the next arc as fast as possible (skip the filler eps and do highlights). It's fun but not worthy more then a couple of weeks of drops.

A lot of fun interactions between the Straw Hats and the themes introduced in it are underrated in their relevance to the Water 7 saga. Most of us are really excited for your Water 7 reactions so I'm sure everyone would prefer a highlight video like this one. We will be watching regardless!

Depending how long or how many arcs are in the saga. hehe What is a Saga? So a Saga from what I know and understood from watching One Piece, is a group of arcs that are all connected to one main goal or destination. Like for example: (Arcs listed are only canon arcs) 1. East Blue Saga ( Going to the Grandline ) - Romance Dawn Arc - Orange Town Arc - Syrup Village Arc - Baratie Arc - Arlong Park Arc - Loguetown Arc 2. Arasbata / Alabasta Saga (Intro to Greandline / Help Vivi and go to Alabasta ) - Reverse Mountain Arc - Whisky Peak Arc - Little Garden Arc - Drum Island Arc - Arabasta Arc Some Sagas contain only 2 arcs, like Skypiea where we only had the Jaya Arc and Skypiea itself. So yeah, what I'm saying is I guess, you can take that into account as well!! hehe. Since Sagas revolve around specific major events in the Strawhats' journey 😁

I'm not sure if you've given thought about the youtube upload but maybe having the filler arc as a single upload would be good so its easy to skip or sit through all together.

After this next arc, it's just pure greatness for a quite a while, so I think most fans would be down for just getting through this arc as quickly as possible, like g8.

In and of itself it is one of the weaker arcs minus its ending, the filler would just make it unbearable. But all of that said, y'all are about to enter my favorite saga!!

Fun fact, Commander Jonathan is actually in the canon anime continuity (but not manga unfortunately so how canon is he really)! He shows up very briefly in an anime episode that isn't filler. I realize this doesn't actually make him true canon but I'm coping because I enjoy him so much as a character.

However, you have to watch the final fight because you get to see the origin of one of the most famous one piece memes imo. Your moderators will know what I’m talking about 🤣
