I think the issue with the music is us comparing it to season 1. Season 1 was VERY dark and creepy. Everything felt very off and eerie. Any comedy was isolated to when the players were in the commons area. The games were extremely serious and tense. Now we know so much more that the mystery behind the games isn't fully there anymore. Instead of continuing to play on that eerie-ness they went for a different vibe. A bait and switch sort of thing where it's comedic and hype then suddenly dark and sad. The music is a big way they do this and it's pretty jarring compared to season 1. A lot of people tend to prefer one vibe more than the other. Definitely just an opinion thing. It grew on me by the final lap of the mini games but I didn't like it at first.

Which is very significant in player 120’s case as she’s a trans woman being recognized by Player 095 as her “unnie” kind of like older sister. It makes that scene where she called her beautiful so emotional for me.

2024-12-31 03:09:24 +0000 UTCThe Gong Gi game is actually not that difficult, just needs a lot of practice 😂 There are 5 levels. First level you scatter all the Gong Gi 'balls?' on the ground and pick up 1, that is the 1 that you will be using to toss in the air. While you toss 1 in the air, pick up 1 then catch the one that's in the air, and so on until all have been picked up. Level 2: Same process but while 1 is in the air, you pick up 2 at a time. Level 3: Same process but while 1 is in the air, you pick up 1, then pick up 3 when you toss 1 in the air again. (Or the other way around) Level 4: Don't scatter first, just toss 1 in the air then quickly place all 4 on the ground then catch the 1 in the air. Repeat again but grab all 4 that are on the ground at once while 1 is in the air and then catch it. Last level: Toss all the tokens in the air, flip your hand and all 5 Gong Gi tokens must land on the back of your hand. Then with the back of your hand, spring the balls in the air and catch them all at once with your hand. If you fail during any of the levels, the other player gets a go. This is played a lot by girls between primary to middle school in Korea.😁
