Personally, S4 is my 2nd to last favorite arc if I were to rank them, but I still gave it an 8/10 lol. Not so great MHA still performs above average in comparison to other series out there. Putting personal preferences aside, S4 and S5 are usually called the weaker seasons, because of adaptation issues such as pacing and how content was handled. S5 especially butchered a pretty important arc (don't know if it's because they were making the movie at the same time, since the animation also took a dip in that season), so that left a lot of fans miffed.

I watch every anime episode which I rate with its intro and its outro for otherwise I had not watched its entirety and thus would not be able to rate its entirety based on my experience.

2024-12-12 09:42:09 +0000 UTCyou're right, it's just way more common with the girls in this show. i know many animes have a lot of fanservice but since most of the mha main characters are children it's a lot worse. the scenes with midnight creeping on the underage boys make me cringe away from my screen :/

I suppose the pacing thing could be an issue if you were only watching one a week, but I don't see them having any issues with things. I think they are going to absolutely love this season.

My favorite villain is from 1st half of this season, my favorite student has some of the best moments, some of my favorite characters of all anime gets introduced in this season... so there is lots of highs and good things in this season but anime kinda ruined lot of it for me

2024-12-11 19:11:18 +0000 UTCseason 4 plot is good but anime is rushed (i dunno who's stupid idea was to put 2 brilliant arcs and mash them into one season resulting in both being rushed and looking sloppy) and reason why many complain about it is heavy censorship that kind of ruined few moments (and again, rushed pacing)
