I better see Ange's pogchamp face when Nagi was mid air in tomorrow's thumbnail :p Even though Isagi set up the play and even Rin kept it cool for the whole team under pressure and initiated the attack, Nagi ultimately deserves mvp. His goal didn't just revitalize his team, it revitalized the dwindling interest of fans in this second season. I saw so many edits of the goal, and people trying to pull it off on social media.

Shidou was the only one who could drive both of them stronger. Sendou said the U-20 is his team and the whole team backed him up to put him instead of Shidou, which was not part of the agreement but Sae agreed to give them a chance, and he still squandered a goal from a perfect assist against a striker playing as a goalkeeper. That is not something a national player should miss, he had all the time in the world to take that shot

2024-11-18 19:24:28 +0000 UTCHonestly, there are almost no soccer anime out there, so it already stands out for me, but the egotistical point of view of the characters and their obsessive connection to the goal is different in a way that you don't see in many anime. Although I sometimes agree with the criticisms about the animation quality and the excess of trash talk during the match, even if it was drawn in paint, I would continue to watch the anime just for the hype it created in me.

JUST PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nagi's goal was nice though... and I am liking Sae, mostly because he doesn't talk while playing.
