In the Runeterra lore, the town Kino talks about Ambessa visiting is called Basilich. I did some research into that town to see if there are any champions from there that could be Mel's father, and as it turns out, there are two of them! Two brothers, specifically. And their names both start with 'D'. Mel's daddy may very well be one of those brothers (more likely the one who holds significant political power in Noxus). π²π²π²π²π²π²π²

A cool thing is that in the old lore Singed supplied Noxus with chemical weaponry that they used to commit horrible atrocities during war and invasion. Ambessa striking up a deal with Singed might be a nod to that.

In other words she is the reason he had that metal jaw in the first place. She also gave him an upercut in Act 1 when they were trying to save Vander. This is the third time she has fricked up his jaw ππ
