not sure if anyone mentioned this but the 2 "new" characters you saw in ep29 are the characters that was shown in the filler episodes of alabasta arc.

I feel like it's one of those filler episodes that cause no harm but adds to the show's enjoyment factor. I don't know if you guys are going to go back and watch it but at least hope you guys don't skip the G-8 filler arc in the future because it's one of the best.

Ange always calm and ready for some goosebumpy moments like Zoro, and Carlie always totally joyful laughing like a maniac abt small puns Oda put into the character of Luffy mostly. It's so authentic and fun to watch :D you guys fr are the best reactors to the show and this is just early one piece :D the story soon accelerates and gets stronger and stronger with the time you watch it through <3. Btw Ange i think apart from the first op opening and most aot openings i think you made the most likeable cover here really love ur version!
