I agree that is weak but is not horrible as most people say it is, but book 3 and 4 are definitely peak, amazing writing and character development

2024-11-04 06:33:18 +0000 UTCI don't know if you guys noticed but like every avatar that has had a life long companion Roku being his dragon, Aang with appa and Korra with naga, Wan also had one n it was the "cat deer" 😂he freed that he was riding so I think it's awesome that it started from the very first avatar.

Jet issue was that he brought the people he was supposed to be fighting for down with him. Wan was a selfless person who tried stealing from the rich and even if he didnt actually get anything from it, would share his measly crumbs with animals rather than keep himself fed. I dont think he had a big changing moment where he became more selfless and caring. His arc was more about 1. unlearning biases and ignorance about spirits, and becoming their friend, and 2. finding a cause to fight for

The lion turtles gave people the elements but dragons, air bisons, the moon and badger moles are what taught people how to bend the elements properly. 2. Wan means ten thousand in chinese and he's voiced by Steven Yeun from The walking dead (if you've seen that show). 3. The order in which Wan receives the elements is the order of the avatar cycle: fire, air, water, earth. 4. Harmonic convergence is when the sprititual and physical realms become one for a brief period. When Wan touched it his physical self fused with Rava's spirit. 5. Wan learned all 4 bending in less than a year. When Aang first met Roku at the fire temple and he told him he had to master all 4 bending in less than a year (before next solstice) and then Aang said he's not sure if he could do it, Roku replied with something like - you can because you've done it before.
