My Hero 3x4 REACTION!

This show is so great

Comments

Nonsense stuff

Jo

it was probably already mentioned, but Big Sis Magne is a trans woman and I'm pretty sure the tiger guy is a trans man

Marley

Season 3 in my opinion is the best season in the show outside of maybe season 7. It just gets 10x better from here.

Evan Flores

Apologies for trauma dumping, but after watching yalls reaction I felt compelled to share. Just trying to honor her memory happily. 🫶

Nice

Girl really wants to get married 😭 it's an anime trope you see all the time Japanese culture still values getting married young

Mark Drumheller III

We still dont get the joke 😆

Carlie & Ange

Thanks so much for sharing Tyler 😭 We’re so sorry to hear but we’re glad you’ve found some peace and closure with it. Your mum was a hero! ❤️

Carlie & Ange

Not sure if you guys caught on but it was Muscular that made those cracks into the rock. Not Kota 😅

My Hero is in my top 5 favourite episodes season 3 is so bloody good

Jayden Lamb

All Mights 100% is Dekus 100%, thats the nature of the Quirk... unfortunately for Deku. as we learned in season 2, Deku is able to use like 5%.

The number of times Carlie has cried watching this anime makes me relate SO HARD. Only two or three animes so far have been able to touch this dead-looking heart of mine. Demon Slayer does it through their tragic and beautiful family relations (PLUS SOUNDTRACK!!!), Haikyuu does it with its lessons of life and the touching story of underdogs rising above people and learning for the sake of the game they love (plus soundtrack!!), AND MHA with its amazing friendship bonds between the main cast of characters, Izuku's selfless nature and his relationships with everyone around him (and once again, SOUNDTRACK!!!). I tear up so easily when it comes to friendship, family, and poetic self-sacrifice. MHA, for all the shit it gets, is the best when it comes to friendship bonds and the things friends will go to help their friends. This is why I love MHA. On a side note, yes! You're totally right when you say that Izuku yelling "1000000%" when using One For All was more him pushing himself to the limit and pulling out every single shred of power he had left in him, rather than him "powering up" with some out of nowhere boost. It's all in UA's motto: Plus Ultra, like Ange mentioned. Great catch guys! Most reactors get super confused about where the 1000000% came from and it totally goes over their head that it's just showing Izuku's desperation.

This episode always gets me choked up!! Top tier!! Every great hero has fans, and Kota is Deku's first! 🥹🥹

chui

This episode was one of those "my peak academia" episodes. The emotions get me every time 😭

NovaVortex

along with Deku himself, kota and probably all the surrounding molecules of everything

zdravko georgiev

Can't believe they forgot the Cat lady's one joke, she sees herself as an old maid that's the whole thing lmao

Mark Drumheller III

One of the very few reactors that i have seen who understood that 1 million percent was more of a Deku hyping himself up and surpassing his limits to go plus ultra with his own body instead of it being an actual power scaling attack. Good job catching that. Yeah if Deku somehow actually went 1 million percent that entire mountain would have been destroyed along with everything around it lol

I have been waiting to see your reactions to that scene. It is known for leaving lasting impressions on people.

R2D2TS

damn so if someone caught this on camera then kota would watch it every day like deku does that all might scene lol

For me it's just that moment he apologizes to his mom and all might. For a young kid to bassically be expecting himself to die in that situation and gives his last thoughts to his mom and master was what makes it really emotional to me. A true hero puts his life on the line to save people, and he did just that.

Adam Novak

Its the timing of the OST, flashback placement; the silence during Deku's Gandalf moment, fading the artstyle into pencil sketch with the title reveal at the end. All the creative decisions. Bones directors just lowkey be cooking tf out of a whole episode

ska

It's interesting to hear Ange talk about expecting a little bit more of a training arc before the villains attacked, because I think that may have actually been the original plan. The author of MHA, Horikoshi, was interviewed about the material as part of a promotion for one of the stage plays and, apparently, around this time the popularity of the manga was starting to drop off, so he and his editors made the decision to cut some of the content they had planned for this arc and jump straight to the big fights. I have no idea what the content that was cut was meant to cover, but I've always assumed it was probably to help us get to know class B and some of the less prominent A students before things really kicked off. Class B has another highlight arc down the line, but I've always thought it was stuff that might have originally been meant for here. Anyway, not really hugely important, but interesting I think! (And great reaction as usual!)

Maybe this is oversharing but I love this episode so much because I identify with Kota’s experience so much… and after watching y’all’s reaction it’s on my mind. I feel compelled to share because I’m proud of her. TW: death/gun violence Last October a gunman that worked with my mom walked up to their office with the intent to cause harm to people inside. He shot someone in the parking lot and my Mom saw, ran outside (locking the door behind her) and put herself between the gunman and victim (she knew both of them). The gunman killed her but was unable to enter the building and left, unaliving himself shortly after. For a long time I was so mad at her for running out there. I kept asking myself why didn’t she just lock the door and hide, but then I met her coworkers. They called her a hero and said she saved their lives and… now I’m… so fucking proud of her and to be her son. She didn’t just save herself or try to save a few people, she tried to save _everyone_, even someone already hurt. Because of that experience, I just love Kota’s story and this episode - seeing him understand and finally appreciate the heroism of how his parents lived even in the wake of their absence is really beautiful. 🫶

top 3 best moment of the show definitely

Rayane

Honestly Dekus voice actor KILLED IT. One of my favourite voice acting performances I’ve ever heard Also there are definately more BANGER episodes to come this season🔥🔥🔥🔥

Shayaan Shouib

I was waiting for so long for this episode 😭 I absolutely love this one, definitely made me cry many years ago. It was confirmed by the author that he didn’t actually do 1,000,000, but it was more like a battle cry or Deku’s version of plus ultra. I’m so glad I got to watch your reaction.

Daniel Gonzalez

Great episode

Erik Nilsson

In this episode, Deku becomes the 'All Might' to Kota. Just as much as Deku admires All Might, I'm sure that Kota will always see Deku as the coolest hero. He found HIS hero in Deku. DAMN, I LOVE THIS EPISODE

Nashop

Absolutely a peak moment. Just the way Deku apologizes to his mom, the way he pushes himself beyond, the fact he doesn't just physically save Kota but emotionally, too? This is when MHA is the best.
