I hope they explain this sequence in the coming episode in a way that at least makes little sense... because the way that it was delivered wasn't convincing at all. Also, does Isagi have better reaction speed than those two? or better acceleration? No... they were setting it up for him to use his senses to reach to where the ball will go instead of his acceleration, it would've been better if he unconsciously went to a spot on the edge of the box or near the far post where the defenders won't expect him and then receive a cross from Hiori. But they just wanted him to look cool so they made him go through them with a Naruto stance. I agree, this anime is similar to Kuroko no Basuke. But Kuroko was better for me. I don't hate blue lock, if I did I wouldn't be watching it XD I just think it's a waste for such a brilliant idea to be dealt with this way.

Kuroko no basket for example tries to be something with realistic vibes but unrealistic sport logic and it falls flat in its face. For me Blue Lock works because it goes all in on the absurd.

They reacted much before him and reached to the area earlier, while he's still in the back with the puzzle pieces fading away from his face. I know it's anime and they chose this style, it's ok, I just think they bottled it. It could've been way better if it was more reasonable with genuine hype moments instead of forced ones. The soap opera line might be too much, but the way it's executed is kinda like that in some way XD

2024-10-21 16:56:21 +0000 UTCYeah I thought the same thing, but that's just anime :D Also had similar logic issues with Chigiri in season 1. -injures his leg to a point where he quits football -gets invited to blue lock and actually goes -agrees to staying in blue lock and knowing, HE HAS TO PLAY FOOTBALL and if he drops out his football career is over -refuses to play football in blue lock, because he is too scared to injure his leg again?!?!? Nothing of this makes sense to me. Everytime he appears on screen I think of how poorly written his character is

But when I start to think how cool it would've been if they've chosen to focus on the football side and the character feelings in a more reasonably calm way instead of spending so much time to give a watercolor effect for every character in almost every scene and make most of them speak with weird slangs just to force everything into the hype relm... I start feeling that they wasted a lot of potential, which is sad :(

So I have to rely on my senses instead of my speed to get in the right spot. Also Isagi: Suddenly gains an explosive burst of speed to go pass both of them even though they were ahead... This show is starting to piss me off to be honest 🤣🤣
