2024-11-01 04:18:25 +0000 UTCA few things: - I didn't think you noticed but at the end of ep 2, Hide opened his eyes just right when Kaneki and the manager were leaving the room - The guys in the CCG mentioned that Jason's weapon they got as evidence was made of quinque steel, the material they use for their own weapons - The author of the manga, Sui Ishida, did base Tsukiyama's character from Hisoka. They mentioned a lot of times that they love HxH with Hisoka as their favorite. I'm pretty sure they also made a bunch of art of Hisoka in their style that has been acknowledged by the author of HxH. - Many of the details you guys are noticing will be relevant in the story later on (mostly in the manga). Sui Ishida uses a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism in Tokyo Ghoul and its sequel manga Tokyo Ghoul:Re so if you're planning to read those you might want to keep that in mind

They can't exactly control who lives there, though some wards/suburbs are dodgier than others. From what I understood, ward 20 has been quiet but recently there's been more and more trouble in there so it drew the attention of the investigators

A fun fact is that the creator of Tokyo Ghoul is a Hisoka fan and has also drawn a manga about Hisoka's past which was approved by Togashi. Rize Kamishiro is the Glutton. These nicknames are used by the CCG (the anti ghoul organisation). Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know and I'll answer spoiler free. I've seen another channel called Sorta Stupid watch the uncensored version but i don't know where they found that

I'm not one for fictional gore but turning scenes with heavy blood into negative mode colors is just really ugly and takes so much away. A lot of the subs seem off as well. For example the coffee shop is called Anteiku, not "Antique" and Anteiku does not mean Antique in Japanese. So it's just straight up using the wrong name for no reason. Not complaining at all to you guys, just felt like pointing out some changes in this version from the original
