But to play devil's advocate, if you give him MVP because Momo is better student or better hero because of his actions then every time someone from class 1-a does something hero worthy you can make argument Aizawa should be mvp cause he is the one teaching them how to become heroes. yes i know in this specific moment it is more nuanced and direct and you can also make an argument all might can take the credit for some stuff but ultimately this is not a great angle for choosing mvps. It is definitely worth to point out and keep in mind but overall its taking credit for others acomplishments

2024-10-03 06:10:06 +0000 UTCYeah, and I've seen a lot of people believe Aizawa's excuse and miss how intentional it really was, which is sad because that being a fully intentional choice rather than a simple reaction shows much more of Aizawa's depth. His excuse was only meant to fool Momo to solidify her confidence, but it's somehow convinced some viewers too lol. I'm pretty sure Carlie & Ange understood, but it's a shame it didn't come up in the discussion. I still think their Momo pick is very valid, but everything you mentioned should definitely at least be considered in making that MVP choice.

2024-10-02 19:31:53 +0000 UTCAizawa is awesome throughout the series. Also, a little side note, the matryoshka dolls(nesting dolls) that Momo was making were what she first made as a child. She made them so much as practice growing up that she can now make them without having to concentrate it.

The way he understood what these two students needed to learn and steered them in the right direction while in the middle of this fight, absolutely amazing. Even after saying it was not his job at the moment to help Momo get back her confidence, he still decided to play his part and take the L to give her that moment. Like Recovery Girl said, he is a big softie.
