O.P Eps 105-106 REACTION!

I always find the crew segment and strawhat rankings interesting. Miss All Sunday got the boot so quick, damn. I wonder how you will feel about your rankings looking back. It's interesting that you guys are ranking Usopp above Chopper. At this point in the story most people don't really like Usopp. He is a character who really grows on you throughout the story, but early he is not popular. It doesn't help that his introductory arc Syrup village is one of the least liked arcs in the entire series. I am surprised you guys have such a positive view on it tbh. Meanwhile Chopper's introductory arc, Drum Island is a fan favorite. I think at this point in the story most people would put Chopper above Usopp.

I wouldn't call it a redemption. Usopp's character is his character and being stubborn when pushed into a corner is a part of it. he's a coward, that is apart of who he is, but when he is truly needed he always steps up. He doesn't actually have that moment in every arc because he doesn't need redemption just for being exactly who he is, the same person Luffy invited to join him fully knowing who he is. He has the realization that he's now a real pirate and must actually contribute to the final battle in Arlong Park. He is right there when Miss All Sunday shows up, weapon drawn and ready, Sanji and him had been asleep for that whole arc but I doubt you'd call sanji stepping up there to be a 'redemption'. In Whiskey Peak Usopp was there and present. He was immediatly helping Vivi hunt down Kureha, he was so touched by Daltons resolve that he tried to carry him up a mountain. Thats a lovely moment, sure it ends with a gag but he wasn't being a coward there, he was trying to be a man that respects others resolves. Then of course he's the reason Vivi, Namu and Zoro aren't dead in Little Garden. It's the birthplace of the solidification of his dream and he was on point that whole arc, being mostly his best self! Idk, if you dont like Usopp just say that, dont boil him down to "coward and then redemption at the end" because he is far more complex.

Usopp usually has his redemption moment in each arc and goes straight back to being a coward, if anything, it gets more tiresome as the episodes go on.

eh 'revealed' is kinda pushing it since it's really just Oda finally lets us in on names of the other types. If you are paying attention you can clearly see the pattern arising to sort them into category's yourself.

I'm fairly certain this is a spoiler since they don't know the types (or the number of types) of devil fruits yet, and it'll only be revealed in skypiea. You could've explained the Zoans without including the others.

Something to take note of is the similarity between Cobra the king and Luffy in that they are leaders of their own and that they both came to the same conclusion albeit in different ways and saying it differently though knew the answer and the best solution. With Luffy once he saw the kingdom he knew the problem was Crocodile and take him out all is well and with Cobra once he found out that Crocodile was the villain he knew to immediately go and attack him at his HQ because that was the best solution to end it all.

I think a lot of people, myself included forget how short the One Piece timeline actually is. Most the arcs take place over just a few days, so that could also explain characters like Usopp not changing so quickly

Pell's Devil fruit is Bird-Bird Fruit Model Falcon. He can only transform into a Falcon, Model Types are only coming from Zoan type fruits, You guys will encounter many model types along the way from Zoan Devi Fruits

Usopp, like all characters in One Piece are slow to change. you gotta think about them in sections of episodes. Usopp makes strides when he does grow but hes slow to make that first step. He's my all time favorite since he is rarely forced to change but when he is he comes through. You'll see, it'll be a blast.

just as clarification, when someone says bird-bird fruit 'model falcon' or Ox-Ox fruit 'model bison' it means that there are other Ox or bird type fruits out there, and the one they got is that specific kind of bird or ox. Pell, can only become a falcon, but its implied that there are other bird fruits of different kind of birds.
