I think that the loss of control was because the little guy was thinking it was fighting Kaiju no. 2 and not a human. ((this is a conjecture from me, I've not read the manga or anything.))

2024-09-29 21:56:57 +0000 UTCThis episode made me cry. The third division is the best. Now, about Kaiju #8 and Kaiju #9, I think they are very different. Kafka's relationship with Kaiju #8 is more of a symbiosis, they both benefit from working together. I think Kaiju #8 wouldn't be able to extract his maximum power without Kafka. Unlike Kaiju #9, who doesn't need a vessel, he consumes humans to acquire their form and knowledge, that's how he learns about human organization and technology. I think how he gets stronger is like the chimera ants, no longer a symbiotic relationship. And another thing, Kaiju #8 tells Kafka in this episode to exterminate kaijus, he's just out of control because he faces Kaiju #2. Just remember that is my opinion, later on everything may prove otherwise 😅
