2024-09-25 22:29:04 +0000 UTCJust posting this for clarity, these aren’t spoilers from future episodes at all but feel free to delete mods: Shigaraki is not all for one’s younger brother, they’re separate characters All for one = he can take people’s quirks and he can also give quirks to people (but only quirks he already possesses) His younger brother = useless quirk that can pass on quirks to other people Remember that people normally only have one quirk, so the younger brother’s quirk is “useless” because all it does is give his quirk to someone else (which is nothing when you think of how it’s physically manifested vs other quirks lol). Thats why both all for one and his younger brother thought the younger brother was quirkless. So when AFO gave his younger brother a stock piling quirk, it basically combined with the young brother’s dormant quirk that passes on quirks, allowing the stock piling quirk to be passed on and becoming strengthened over time as all might explains; this is the version of one for all we see today. The stock piling quirk normally wouldn’t be that powerful but by being combined with the ability to go through multiple people over time due to the younger brother’s quirk, it’s become this strong.

Thinking his younger bro was quirkless, AFO gave him a stockpiling quirk. Idk what his intentions were. But the mix between the younger brothers pass on quirk and the new stockpiling quirk is what we know as One For All. or OFA. Thats all we're supposed to know as of this episode.
