And after 25 years of them you learn all about their strengths and weaknesses, their goodness and faults. It’s like with close family members. You love them all, and it’s tough to order them by favourite. And since you love them unconditionally, regardless of everything, many One Piece fans, myself included, have a side character as their favourite. Because liking the straw hats is too obvious or for granted.
