Just giving you a heads up on what videos you can expect to see this week.
We have Carlie's Grandfather's funeral early in the week as well as a few other family commitments, so early on in the week, there won't really be many videos at all as we wont get to filming until Wednesday. We've also had horrid storms here in Melbourne Australia so the power has been all over the place! We hope anyone else affected is safe!
Here are the videos planned:
- One Piece Eps 84-86 should drop on Thursday
- We're hoping to get at least 2 My Hero episodes recorded this week. 2x10 and 2x11 should drop the day after One Piece
- Korra and Kaiju will have 2 episodes each, uploaded on the weekend!
Hell's Paradise and Horimiya are both finished for now, so we'll likely have a poll up for a new show at some point later this week

Condolences to carlie and all the family. I hope you are safe and I recommend [Ranking of Kings]. This is a warm and thought-provoking animation. It's not a very big episode, but it has very good songs and character development. I definitely recommend checking it out sometime. I don't know how to speak English, so I'm conveying this through Google Translator. With love ♥

If Carlie and Ange didn't enjoy Death Note because of the violent themes, I think Black Butler might not be their cup of tea either. I guess I wrote this list too quickly! 2024-09-03 23:31:53 +0000 UTCSince Ange likes DBZ so much, you should truly consider watching DBZ: Abridged. Even if it' not as a reaction, I think you'll really enjoy their take on DBZ. Apart from that I would add Noragami to a poll one day. I feel like you'd both really enjoy it. It would also be pretty fun to watch you guys react to certain dub compilations of certain anime. Not necessarily as a Vs, but just to see how the dubs tackled certain characters. For instance, All Might is voiced by the same guy who did dub Vegeta and Piccolo, and he does a great job as All Might. Haikyuu's dub also had some pretty great moments and deliveries

Regarding the shows, I recommend taking your time and watch mha when you can watch the next 3 episodes if you can, because the tournament arc ends in ep 2x12, so 2x11 could leave you kinda hanging, but it's your guys' choice. On another note I'd like to see you watch made in abyss at some point, so I'd love it if you have it in your next poll!

2024-09-03 22:17:32 +0000 UTC- Bleach (366 episodes): A classic, but among the trio of One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, the three great shonen works, Bleach is my favorite. I find the subjects more mature and the character development more accomplished (and the music is EPIC). The latest season just came out in France, and I’m watching it with my partner: it’s really good! However, expect as many episodes as One Piece! (a little less though) - Bakuman (75 episodes): By the same authors as Death Note, but in a completely different universe! This time, it’s a slice of life following two middle schoolers trying to become mangakas. You understand the difficulty of this profession and the workings of publishing, all while following colorful characters! Strangely, there is a “shonen” aspect in the pace of this anime even though it’s a slice of life! - Chihayafuru (24 episodes): One of my favorite animes. It’s a romance and sports anime (yes, a strange mix). The characters are great, and it focuses on a very particular sport: karuta! It’s a Japanese card game with poems written on them (yes, it’s also a sport). - Tokyo Revengers (24 episodes): If you like yakuza, gangsters, and brotherly friendships, it’s perfect! The treatment of the main hero is particularly well-done and different from what we usually see in classic shonens. And, for once, we have a harem of male characters who are all as interesting as each other! - Akatsuki no Yona (24 episodes): A shojo, a touching romance with some combat, mythology, and powers. I’m eagerly awaiting the continuation! There’s a bit of inspiration from Chinese mythology mixed with Japanese. The fantasy aspect blends well with the romance, and all the characters have touching backstories! - Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (24 episodes): Another romance and again with a girl with red hair! It’s one of the romances that touched me the most! There are many adorable scenes! I find all the characters very well written and very endearing! - Dr. Stone (24 episodes): A more peculiar animated series since it’s quite “talkative.” I had a hard time getting into it because the pitch didn’t interest me much. And yet, I don’t regret it (I devoured the anime in a few days!). Colorful characters, a simple and effective pitch, and scientific ingenuity! - Wakfu (70 episodes): I’ll end with a little nod to my country because it’s a French production! There are very few renowned and known major French animated series, and Wakfu is one of those successes that do France proud. A bit in the Avatar vibe, it’s an anime for younger audiences but not at all closed off to adults! A group of adventurers going on an adventure, what more could you ask for (a video game maybe?... wait…) That way you'll have plenty of choices! Thank you for all your content; I'm sending you all the strength I can from France!

The OST, the hype, the action, the fights, i mean, i've seen anime that were horrible being marketed much better, i feel like it deserved more audience, so i'm glad that carlie and ange are enjoying it!
