also, the "i want to be together even after graduation" in my opinion is more of a "lets work our hardest to plan our life after school." a lot of high school relationships end because of long distance, and they hadn't really talked about the future yet so Hori just wanted that reassurance. the proposal is either they're now engaged for however long they need, and just putting the label out there to make things more committed, or it could just be their equivalent to a promise ring
