I know I'm late, but for Ep 7, I think Hatsume's "baby" actually did help Iida. He would've been out a couple times but the device she gave him allowed him to stay in bounds/balanced. That's why she gave it to him in the first place, to make it fair

I was expecting a full-screen experience without the round blurs and marks in the anime. Don't get me wrong, I was a bit disappointed because I subscribed for the full-screen experience. 2024-08-31 03:54:11 +0000 UTCThe part with shinso was very intersting, his quirk would be ideal for a villain, and his character design could easely be seen as villain like, you even said so yourself at the start of this arc. But then you find out people make him out to be a villain all his life, and all he wants to do is become a hero despite of his quirk and his lack of physical strength. love the writing for a character like him

Deku has his notepad and takes notes of everyone but he does it out of interest, for him it is a hobby. For Monoma, this level of perception and eye for details is essential for his quirk to be useful so in my opinion he is more perceptive than Deku in that regard. Deku does it cause its something he likes to do, Monoma does it because he cant afford not to so unlike Deku i think Monoma cant afford to not have it "on". for deku its like a switch "ok imma sit down and take notes" but also he can simply just walk away from a fight and choose not to watch it. Monoma i feel like he doesnt have a switch, its always "ON" for him which is why i feel like he catches things others miss.

2024-08-29 16:13:34 +0000 UTCJust a side note: with Momo's quirk, it's harder for her to concentrate on a battle whilst also thinking of what to create, For her to create stuff, she has to be able to understand and think of the molecular structure of everything she makes. That whilst also trying to keep up with Tokoyami's constant barrage of attacks, it was easy for Tokoyami to win. Personally, momo is one of my favorites; it's just sad how much she gets downplayed through out the series

His whole life, people had suggested that Shinso’s quirk would be suited for a villain, meanwhile his dream is to be a hero and prove his worth as one. Last episode, the audience and even class-A call Bakugo’s decisions villain-like, when his dream is to be the number one hero as far as we’re aware. Both are working towards their dreams, no? I liked that Aizawa pointed this out (in case of bakugo) and kinda approved(?) of Bakugo’s caution of his opponent. Because Uraraka was amazing, she deserved the respect, and she should not have to hear people pity her when she’s doing what she can. I think that when Monoma said “what an idiot,” he meant the audience was stupid not to realise what she was doing and why she kept attacking even though it seemed unnecessary. Like Bakugo, he knew that she had something up her sleeve and she was waiting for the right moment to strike! 🪨💥

Looking at Deku struggling to control OFA even after having it for weeks, you gotta give Monoma props for being able to effectively use Quirks he literally acquired seconds ago to his advantage. And also planning ahead to mix it up with copies of his teammates' Quirks.

However, Bakugo DID win, and it's great that y'all appreciated how serious he took her as an opponent. "What part of her was frail?" indeed 😊 I am ITCHING for the next 3 episodes! They're bangers for sure. It'll be very interesting to see how you two respond to what happens as the sports festival ends.

The crowd was booing him for fighting so easy and "bullying" Uraraka, but that final attack that destroyed the meteor shower just proves how much he actually WASNT bullying Uraraka. Imagine if he was blasting explosion of that magnitude at Uraraka directly. In his own way he WAS BEING RESPECTFULL to her in every way from start till the end. Crowd was the one disrespecting Uraraka more than Bakugo ever could.

2024-08-28 18:14:18 +0000 UTCThe Bakugo/Uraraka fight is one of my favorites. I love that he doesn't take it easy on her because she's a girl. He shouldn't. For one, if you're competing you should respect your opponent and give it your all because they are doing the same even if they don't match well with you. She gave it her all and he respected her for it. And for two, and one of the more important reasons in my opinion, is that villains won't care of she's a female or not. They'll try to kill her just like they would a male, so it's important that she competes and trains to get as strong as she can, just like her peers.

2024-08-28 16:03:47 +0000 UTCi am not nessecarily sad that Shinso didnt make it in hero class as a standalone fact in vacuum but i am disgusted with the fact that so many good heroes with good morals and goals failed to join the class 1-a because of how biased the exam was (with the robots) towards physical super power quirk users yet somehow mineta manage to get in. Like what did he do to deserve the spot. how did his balls help him defeat a robot? how did he manage to stop shitting his pants for long enough to actually do something useful in that exam. We actually see other random students destroying the robots so he had to outdo them. When i think about mineta being in class 1-a i cant help but feel sad for Shinso
