Yeah Sengoku not hugging Sakura when she broke down crying was weird. Maybe they did it for cinematic effect? Maybe Japanese consider hugging too awkward in that situation? Maybe Sengoku just felt awkward there? idk I also think Hori being jealous of Miya's male friends supposed to be played as a joke about Hori being super jealous, but yeah it is toxic if taken as not a joke. I see both sides. Angie Pangie is hilarious lol

Like they think Toru likes Sakura but thinks he isn’t worthy of her or sth like that. The thing is, if you watch enough romance anime, you’ll know that saying “I’m not good enough for you” to sb who confesses to you is basically just a nice and polite way to say “Sorry, you’re not the one for me”. They say that bc they don’t want the other person to feel like they’ve been rejected.

Iura's house architecture looks very traditional to me, also they seem to be raised by grandparents, Iura asked his sister "there is graps" then he got home. So I think they both had a strict traditional upbringing, and thats why Iura holds himself very reserved at home, but letting loose at school. While sister is too uptight with her studies and she is less of a goof in general, so she doesn't know how to relax properly and stress making her grades bad, which in turn make her stress more. Thats more or less how I read situation :)
